Join Dis-Chem as a Store Cleaner in Potchefstroom
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a dedicated and reliable Store Cleaner to join the Mooirivier Junction branch in Potchefstroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, neat, and hygienic environment across all areas of the store, including the shop floor, stockroom, dispensary, admin offices, and canteen.

Minimum Requirements
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Minimum of 6 months cleaning experience.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Basic customer service skills.
- Willingness to work retail hours, weekends, and public holidays.
Advantageous:
- Bilingual (English and an additional local language).
- Prior retail cleaning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the store.
- Clean and sanitize the shop floor, canteen, restrooms, and communal areas daily.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are available and used correctly.
- Display wet floor signs during cleaning to ensure customer safety.
- Assist with on-the-spot cleaning during operating hours.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations.
- Be professional, presentable, and ready to assist customers when needed.
