Job Purpose (General Worker)
The main purpose of this role is to assist with all shipping department functions, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining adequate production levels on the shipping floor. You’ll also help identify and report any discrepancies to the site supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10–12 qualification.
- 1–2 years’ experience in a wool warehouse environment.
- Previous experience in the shipping department is an advantage.
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be physically fit and able to work on your feet for long periods.
- Willingness to work overtime and shifts when required.
- Attention to detail and basic knowledge of warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the “Breekspan” team in handling and relocating bales.
- Offload outside bales from trucks (Cross Hauling operations).
- Pull and replace bales in the stacking area as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the working environment.
- Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
- Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
